In an unsettled and divided landscape, employee wellbeing has never been more important - or harder to protect. It can feel like the joy has gone out of the daily grind and the fascinating, complex human beings we work with are sometimes just pixels popping up on screen. Fortunately we specialise in unique, story-based teambuilding sessions in person or remotely, so you can (re)connect in a way that suits you.
HOW CAN SPOKEN STORIES HELP TEAMBUILDING?
As we all begin to work more flexibly, those watercooler moments are becoming fewer and further between. Endless meetings have replaced those casual interactions that brighten our days and help us know a little more about our colleagues.
In addition, we're learning to explore our identities and sometimes it isn't clear how that fits with work - how can we listen and be heard in a way that is safe and structured? That's where Heard Connect comes in.
HOW CAN I BOOK A SESSION FOR MY COMPANY?
Your experience starts with a fact-finding call to discover what you want from your team building sessions. While you can do a one-off session - for example, as you return to the office or welcome a new employee to the team - we believe that storytelling is integral to a healthy working culture. That's why we tend to recommend at least three sessions, each with a different theme.
We also offer special one-to-one sessions to help with public speaking, videos, media training and more. You’ll learn the secrets to telling an impactful spoken story and why it matters. Contact us to find out more.
HOW DOES HEARD CONNECT WORK?
Whether in person or online, we work with you to craft a unique storytelling session around a set theme, where participants can share a true story about themselves on a theme.
The topic can be set by you or voted for by the participants, and our expert facilitators can make the mood fun or thoughtful, depending on your needs. Based on our wide experience of storytelling, we also share quick and easy tips to help participants speak with confidence.
There are guidelines to ensure everyone feels comfortable and the results are illuminating, productive and culturally inclusive - unlike going down the pub…
